Not according to the Japanese page - Masashi Hamazu's name is listed in small print at the bottom, so it's obvious he's back for FFXIII.
Listening to these though, it seems Hamazu's been improving his skills in composition, as these new tracks are pretty good.
Chocobo is okay, although it is easily the weakest of the group, as the jazzy tempo did wear a little thin by the end.
Lightning's Theme is very pretty, a melancholy arrangement of the trailer theme for piano and strings.
Resistance and
Valiant however, are easily my favourites of this group.
Hamazu seems to excel at rousing military marches and both
Resistance and
Valiant deliver, reminding me of such tracks as
WRO Theme from the
Dirge of Cerberus OST (I especially loved how the on
Resistance the melody started off soft and slowly built up before disappearing into a wonderful bridge, drawing to a climax which then died back into softness. Good stuff.
