(Due to, uh, circumstances, this post happens before, during, and after the kraken as well as Atlantica. So much ground to cover…)

Chapter II, Salt Notes II

Just before Yoruichi could answer the knight a current ripped through the water, pushing water over the the bubbles circling all around them. Even in th midst of the ocean, both women could hear the cries of a terrible monster, one which had to have remarkable power.

“What the hell was that?” Yoruichi growled, readjusting her swimming and went back to the side of Jayle.

“I don’t know,” The knight answered honestly, but the tone of her voice was of curiosity. She turned to look at her tiger shark-like companion, who nodded in complete understanding, “Let us go see.”

In her numbered sailing days, Jayle had heard of the stories of the kraken through the sailors of the ship. The knight has seen a number of magical creatures in her day, but never for once had she thought she’d witness an actual kraken. It lived up to legend, there was no doubt about that. And yet, almost to Jayle’s disappointment, she could only watch in the distance as what looked to be an elf bringing the mighty beast down.

“Wow.” Yoruichi commented, and Jayle nodded in agreement, swimming closer to where the sea creature once was. And yet something else caught their eye. Something magnificent. Something Jayle had only considered to be among the gods of Valhalla and unworthy of human contact.

And it was unworthy of humans. The glinting city of Atlantica stopped the two dead in their swimming, the two breathless with awe.

“By the gods.” Jayle barely gasped, the light of the city, shimmering through the water and reflecting off the faces of the two women. The two swam faster to meet the gather crowd among a very large merman. His features were aged, but nothing seemed weak and old about him at all. There was also a voice flowing through the water and over the entire city; sweet, melodic, and hypnotizing. A lump was building in Jayle’s throat as they closed in on the crowd. Something that felt too awfully familiar.

Magnus.

“Nirvelli is the only daughter I have now. You mean nothing to me, nothing, and with my daughter’s song and my trident, we will end this right now!”

Was it Mint who said it? This Nirvelli was apparently this “Idol” that all these women were contracted to find by this red-headed queen and blonde thief.

The overly large merman’s voice shook the ocean to its foundations. The force of his anger was ten times stronger than the kraken of before. Jayle stared up at the massive man; there was no shadow of a doubt that this man was the king of this fairy-tale city. The crowd rushed forward, and Jayle followed up with them, pulling her rapier out from her side.

Blackness then fell.

Then a familiar site.

“…Fahn?” Jayle’s voice went a touch higher in octave, and she immediately covered her mouth in fear, watching as the Captain of the Brotherhood advanced forward. Jayle’s heart leapt in her throat; was he here?

Wait, this is not correct. I was listening to the song of the city…

Darting her eyes about, the knight noticed her fellow soldiers in place, and she immediately straightened up as she had always done. Being a little smaller than the other men had always bothered Jayle, despite being quite tall for a woman. The Captain walked in front of his knights, observing each and everyone closely.

“Jayle?” Yoruichi’s voice snapped the knight back into the ocean, who shook her head as if to clear it.

“I’m sorry.” Jayle apologized, turning her eyes away from the girl. Never get distracted by the sorcerers. The mind tricks will do you in.

“No, I felt it too,” Yoruichi admitted, and the two girls gave each other concerned looks, before swimming closer towards the city.

“My, my, my! What a handsome man you are!” Yoruichi and Jayle turned around, and the knight barely had a moment to close her jaw in shock. A woman who was wearing nothing but a strange instrument as a top to cover her chest had swam up to Yoruichi and Jayle. The black haired beauty also had someone else on her back, their arms circling the older woman’s waist. Jayle began to feel her heart race a little as the sultry voice of the nearly topless woman cooed, “And the only man among so many women, too. It must be so hard…”

She cackled, and Jayle felt her cheeks turning pink at the innuendo, before bowing in greeting, “Milady.”

Yoruichi eyed the topless girl, and looked around at the smaller blonde girl, who had just let go of her waist, and peeked up and smiled, “Здравствулте!! Моим име… oh sorry!” The blonde girl giggled madly, a strange accent Jayle couldn’t pick up, “I’m Fresha! Nice to meet you.”

The blonde girl’s introduction lightened the tension somewhat, and Jayle exhaled slowly, “I am Jayle Robberts of the Crell Monferaigne Knights.”

“I-No. And knight, you say?” I-No smiled seductively at Jayle, who tried her best to seem as comfortable as possible.

“Shihouin Yoruichi. Pleased to meet you all.” Yoruichi smiled politely, looking at the blonde girl who was swimming around everyone, darting in and out of everyone’s legs.

The song continued from the city, and all four girls were trying to half listen and ignore it at the same time.

“I say,” I-No started, a grin playing on her lips, “We go and find who the little song bird is.”

"This...was NOT in the Little Mermaid," commented Anita as her vission blurred, the Idol's song bringing her to a completely different place.

A fire roared in front of her. Giant bookcasses toppled over, some cut clean through the middle as paper flew in the air like a gigantic whirlwind. Anita looked ahead of her, completely shocked by the sudden change of scenery. "This...it can't be..."

A figure loomed in the distance, covered in shadows by the roaring flames. Her arms were limp as she looked up into the sky, then turned to face Anita, her glasses flashing with an eerie light.

"No...NO! Why are you making me remeber this!?" cried out Anita as she fell to her knees and clutched her head. The figure in front of her was none other than Yomiko Readman. The event before her was something that had scarred her for the rest of her life - the destruction of the British Library.

Anita's back to was to the wall as she crouched down, sobbing uncontrollably. Despite learning the truth behind the entire event...she knew it wasn't Yomiko's intent...still, she couldn't help but sumbit to the waves of fear that washed over her.

"Mi-nee...Ma-nee...Someone, anyone....Help..." cried out Anita inbetween sobs.

"Anita?"

The voice went unheard. The figure in front of her, Yomiko, slowly walked towards Anita, a single piece of paper in her hand. Bookcases toppled behind her, crashing with a loud bang as the fires consumed them.

"Anita! Snap out of it!

Anita blinked. "Who...who's there?"

"Anita!"

The girl recognized the voice. She looked to her right to see a ghostly hand reach out for her. She recoiled from it, shireking.

"It's okay, Anita! Grab onto my hand!

Anita looked at the hand, then up to the horrible figure before her. Yomiko stood, hand high in the air, ready to slice the girl in half with the paper. Anita quickly grabbed onto the hand and felt a tug. Suddenly, the girl was no longer in the ruins of the British Library, but instead back near Atlantica. Yachiru looked over the girl with a convered face. "Are you fine now?"

The paper user nodded slowly. "What...happened?"

"I think the Idol is using our minds against us," said Yachiru. "You suddenly screamed, then swam off. I found you here, huddling close to yourself."

"...thanks," said Anita. She shuddered visibly, the memory that had made her loathe books for most of her life fresh in her mind. "Weren't you affected at all?"

Yachiru nodded. "I quickly broke free, though."

Anita wondered for a second just how strong Yachiru was - both physically and mentally, just to be able to break free on her own. A thought raced through Anita's mind, a worried look appearing on her face. "We have to help Mi-nee and Ma-nee!"

Yachiru shook her head. "Maggie was already breaking free when I left. The best thing to do now is to find that Idol and kick her ass."

Anita still looked concered, but eventually had to agree with Yachiru's logic. Maggie would be able to help Michelle. "You're right...I'm going to make that bastard wish she NEVER made me remember that!" said the girl with renewed vigor.

Yachiru nodded. "C'mon," she said, pointing at the large castle. "I think she's in there."

"If this is still from The Little Mermaid," said Anita, thinking, "I may be able to help us find her quicker. Let's go!" Both girls swam towards the castle, ready to fight whatever new foe appeared before them.

--

Anita and Yachiru have been seperated from the Paper Sisters, and are now headed straight for Atlantica. Anita is trying to piece together somewhat of a mental map of the castle from watching the movie. Both are open for interaction.

The Sailor Senshi of Ice : Tide of New Talent Part II

The city of Atlantica was truly a sight to behold. Gleaming golden spires, and this, this strange song that suddenly sapped Ami's attention in the corridor that she was quietly moving through, undetected and unheard. The song was very eriee to Ami's ears, yet it was very enchanting none the less. The senshi figured this had to be Nirvelli's doing, and braced herself for anything. That was when the scenery changed drastically. The closer Ami got to where she heard the sound the more real the change was. Soon the senshi found herself walking up the stairs towards the Hino shrine. Ami could see her friends, Usagi, Makoto, Minako, Rei, Luna, Artemis, and even Chibi-Usa was there. They all were standing there waving towards Ami, but she knew that something was not right. How could she be walking on ground if she still felt like she was swimming through water? How is it possible to be walking on dry land that is several hundred feet above sea level, when one is practically twenty thousand leauges below sea level? It made no sense, it had to be a trick.

"An illusion of friendship isn't needed when I know where my real friends are," Ami shook her head. "It is still a very nice sight, but it isn't real. My enemy tried this once before, it failed, and now a new enemy does the same thing."

That was when it hit Ami. The senshi suddenly recalled that she almost died this way last time it happened, and she immediately braced herself, several bubbles of cold energy filling into her fingertips. She was alert and began looking around as she got closer to the center of illusion, for what could attack her. Ami was about to put her visor back down, as that is what saw through the illusion last time but as soon as she was in reach of her tiara, she found herself blindsided.

A merman guard disguised as a cop in the illusion suddenly shoulder tackled Ami from the side. The senshi wasn't ready at all and the impact knocked her way over to the right, blasting out of her own illusion, and suddenly into this illusion of beautiful shores and interestingly designed huts. Ami had been knocked into Rikku's illusion. Actually, Ami smacked right into the side of Rikku, knocking the Al behd girl off balance, like she was still on land.

"Nani?" Ami instantly blurted out as soon as she stopped. "Another illusion?"

"Can you watch where you are going," Rikku was about to lash back out as soon as she recovered her balance but then her eyes quircked at the sight of the Senshi. "Ami? What are you doing here?"

"Oh, sorry Rikku....but what am I doing here?" Ami was a bit confused. "We are still in Atlantica, so of course I am going to be some where around here."

"Wait, this is Besaid Island," Rikku remarked. "How can we still be in Atlantica?"

"Simple, it is an illusion," Ami told the Al behd straight. "I've been through this once before."

"Well that would explain why you are floating," Rikku brought her daggers back up and then faced the Dark Valefore. "What about him?"

Ami brought her visor down and analyzed Valefore and could see that it was a large merman with a huge trident. It was Triton no doubt, who was standing at a defensive stance, keeping the path to Nirvelli blocked.

"It's Triton," Ami exclaimed. "Don't be fooled, Rikku, this all but an illusion, we just need to get through it and get to Nirvelli before anyone else gets hurt."

Rikku could sense just how quickly Ami wanted to get through to Nirvelli, it was as if the senshi wanted to take on the idol all by herself, a foolish thing, but a selfless act none the less.

King of the Seas (Decisive Battle Under the Sea // Scinfaxi // Ace Combat 5 OST

Triton could see that there was at least one of the women who could see around his daughter's illusion, and that was dangerous to Nirvelli's cause. Taking up his trident with a fierce grip, Triton charged down the warpath at Ami who was already ready.

From Ami's finger tips, and then flowing into her palms, bubbles of artic powers began to form and then shoot out of Ami's hands. In a rapid barrage these bubbles began to hammer away at Triton, forcing his advance to stop, and he could feel his tail begin to freeze up with each bubble that hit it. The merking was being halted by the coldest of the cold, but there was still plenty of fight in him.

As soon as Ami's barrage halted, Triton shattered the anchoring ice on his tail with his trident and began rampaging down on the warpath towards Ami. Rikku interposed and intercepted Triton, as the merking swept his trident down. Rikku could see herself blocking Valefore's claws, she could not see exactly where the trident was, but the fact that it stopped Triton's advance ment she was blocking the trident. This gave Ami enough time to distance herself from Triton and prepare for another onslaught of her bubbles. She knew there was nothing else stronger she could use, for fear of freezing the entire area rock solid, it was bad enough that her bubble assults were already cooling off the area to colder levels.

The Senshi changed her angle and brought down another assult of bubbles as soon as she saw Rikku break off from Triton through her visor. She was going to stop the king cold in a block of ice if she could, just to get to Nirvelli, that's all Ami wanted, and she wanted to end this fast. Little did Ami know that the royal guard of Atlantica was fast approaching her and Rikku.

(Your turn Switch)
----------------------------------------------
Ami has engaged Triton with Rikku, and has revealed the illusion to Rikku. Ami has also revealed another new attack Shabon Gatling . This attack requires no words to use, it is just an onslaught of freezing bubbles one at a time instead of a burst of them. Ami is trying to subdue Triton as fast as she can with Rikku, so she can try to get to Nirvelli before anyone else, and will move on as soon as she gets an opening and Rikku is safe. If Ami is close she might use her dagger that Jayle gave her to defend, but she will try to keep her distance, and attack with Shabon Gatling , Shabon Spray Freezing , or Shabon Spray (If cover and further disruption of the illusion is needed).

Ami's descrption has been updated with new attack data.

Order 01/Part Four: Deception

The specter of King Triton spoke, and Seras could hear the chilling voice rising up from the city, and she knew instantly that, whatever it was, the voice belonged to the Idol that they were hunting. Triton raised his mighty trident, and Seras coiled her arm around her, ready for battle.

Then, the glowing city suddenly faded from view, replaced by a grim, dark foyer of a vast mansion. Seras blinked, looking around the dim structure, and realized with a start that she was home, standing in the entry hallway of the Hellsing Mansion itself.

"How the hell?" she whispered, confused.

"Welcome back, Police Girl," a voice called out behind her, and Seras spun, shocked at hearing the familiar, condescending tone. Her eyes widened as she saw her former master standing at the entrance to the mansion, his long red coat hangng off his shoulders, and wide-brimmed hat atop his head. His crimson, glowing eyes stared at her behind gleaming yellow sunglasses, and Seras felt a chill as she saw those eyes, filled with a hunger that she'd never seen - or at least, never directed at her.

"Master.... Alucard," she began to say, but then shook her head. "No, I'm not yours anymore," she added. "You are not my Master anymore, Alucard."

"Indeed," replied the elder vampire. "You've done well for yourself." He paused, and sneered at her, as if she was nothing but another meal for his insatiable appetite.

The chrome-plated .454 Johsua and jet black 13mm Jackal handguns rose, gripped in his white gloved hands, and Seras bolted aside as Alucard fired. The handguns blazed, and the massive rounds from the weapons ripped past her, barely missing her body. The heavy bullets crashed intot he wall behind her, blowing grapefruit-sized holes in the masonry.

"Too well, Seras Victoria," he hissed, his smile widening to serial killer proportions.

"Kou'oken!" she snarled, and her counter erupted from her fingers, the bolt slashing into Alucard as he pivoted to track her. He grunted slightly, and as he did so, Seras' mind started catching up to her surroundings, overriding the shock of the situation.

As she watched Alucard line up his weapons, she suddenly could see past him and around him, and could feel the lines and weaved threads of energy around her, generating the images swirling around her on all sides. That part of her that was far from human could understand what faced her, and she knew that it wasn't real.

Her enhanced vampire senses pinpointed the nature of the illusion, and as she skittered aside - this time swimming with her tail, dodging bolts of energy in the waters of Atlantica - her will power reached out into the illusion weaving itself through the sea. The magic tried to rush in and impose its deceptions on her, but she saw through the trickery of the Idol, and, with a flex of her will, she unraveled the illusions surrounding her. The walls of the Hellsing Mansion crumbled and were swept away by the flowing seawater, and Alucard's form melted away, revealing the mighty King Triton once more, even as he fired another blast at her from his golden trident.

The vampire twisted aside, and countered with another Kou'oken, and chased after the shot with her left arm reaching backward, forming into a savage, black claw of shadow as she assaulted King Triton himself.

-

Within the castle beyond, Nivelli frowned, even as she continued her dark song. So one of them had broken her spell; she would merely have to work that one over harder....

-

Seras has managed to break the Idol's illusion over her area of the sea, and is assaulting Triton directly.

The four women began to swim towards the majestic underwater city (how they saw it through all the water, at the bottom of the ocean, no less, is beyond me), and the dark-skinned woman, Yoriuchi, was the first to speak up. "If we do find the songstress, how are we supposed to fight her?" she asked.

"I am not sure," answered Jayle, holding her rapier in her right hand and inspecting it, pondering on how useful such a weapon would be underwater, "This weapon is not very conducive to submerged combat."

I-no slowly hit her on the back of the head with her light blue weapon, "You think that thing's bad, at least it can cut through the fucking water. Try fighting with this!"

"Yes, living all our lives on land, we are at a distinct disadvantage..." She brushed some of her blonde hair out of her face.

"Ummm..." Freasha stated, "Is it really a good idea to be going towards them without any kind of plan?"

I-no gave her a dismissive wave as she hung Marlene back on her shoulder, "Shut up, grown-ups are talking..."

"No," the cat-woman stated, "The girl's right. Do any of you have alternate means of fighting? If not, we may just be going straight to our deaths."

"I have trained with swords and spears. On the ground." Jayle thought for a bit, before adding, "Though I'm sure all of our allies are in the same predicament. We should do something."

Hmmm... Looks like I'm the only one who can do a goddamn thing here. I like that, these fucks will owe me.

I-no raised her hand and a yellow ball of energy formed in it and crackled away like a fire, lighting up the depths of the ocean around the women for a while. "I can still fight," she said with a smile. She looked to the knight, "So, I guess you're a fucking knight or something. So what the hell's the plan?" She paused for a moment. "Also, why the fuck aren't you attacking us? Shouldn't you be hypnotized or some shit? Or are you just a dickless fag or something?"

Anita and Yachiru swam along towards the castle, avoiding the merman patrols that frequented the surrounding area. They were obviously expected. Every now and then, Nivelli's melody grew louder, affecting Yachiru and Anita at the same time. Both girls had found that as long as they maintained some sort of physical contact, they were able to help each other ward off the illusionary attacks to some degree. Now all that was left was to actually FIND the Idol.

They reached the castle with only a little struggle from opposing guards, but both Anita and Yachiru were able to take them out with little trouble. As they approached what appeared to be the main entrance from the side, both of them spotted another little girl. She was talking to something in front of her - only there wasn't anyone there at all.

"Ash, what do we do now?"

"But there's so many of them!"

Anita and Yachiru looked at each other and nodded. Assuming she was under Nivelli's illusionary control, both swam forward to aid her. The green-haired girl noticed their approach and waved at them happily.

The girl looked to her side and smiled, "See, Ash! I told you if we waited, we'd get some more help!"

Anita blinked in surprise, then looked to Yachiru. The other girl was squinting her eyes - there was something there, she just couldn't discern what it was. It projected an aura not unlike a shinigami's, however.

"Hi!" said the girl happily, approaching the two. "You two were brought here by-"

"The crazy lady with wings? Yep," interrupted Anita. Yachiru laughed a little at Anita's abrupt interruption.

"I don't know if I'd call her that," said Marona, "But it's nice to know we have some help! I'm Marona!"

Anita smiled and nodded, "I'm Anita, that's Yachiru," she said, Yachiru waving several of her starfish-like appendages in what appeared to be a wave.

"Wow! I didn't think there would be so many people our age around here," said Marona, appraising both girls. Anita hid a twitch, while Yachiru held back the urge to gnaw on her skull. "It's nice to meet both of you." She turned, facing the invisible apparition again, smiling.

"Who are you talking to?" asked Yachiru curiously. The form wavered back and forth, appearing uncertain. Marona also looked a little wary. "Is that a shinigami or something?"

"Huh?" asked Marona, pointing a finger on her face in thought.

"Eh-" said Yachiru, remembering that this wasn't exactly her world, "You know, a kind-of-dead-but-not-really person?"

"Oh!" replied Marona, nodding and visibly relieved. "It's okay, I think, Ash."

A small burst of light flashed near Marona as the ghostly figure of a young man appeared. "Hello," he said.

Anita blinked. A ghost. Well, at least the girl wasn't insane. She nodded to the man, smiling. Marona looked quizzically at the two of them. "You're not...afraid, or anything?"

"Huh?" asked Yachiru. "Why would I be? I'm kind of the same thing."

"I've seen worse," commented Anita.

Marona's eyes glittered with new hope. "Would you two be my friends?"

Anita blinked at the abrupt question. She scratched the back of her head, "Uh, sure!"

"Why not?" said Yachiru, smiling.

"Thank you!" exclaimed Marona. She swam back and forth excitedly. Ash recognized the signs, as did Anita.

"Oh, for the love of-NOT THIS AGAIN!"

Marona clasped her hands, looked up into the ocean, and began.

Tempo: Adagio
Marona
Ever since I was a little girl
I've lived all alone
These past few days have been such a twirl
So many friends so many lives so many new people to me!

"STOP. NOW," interrupted Anita, thwacking Marona on the head with a paper fan. "Rule one of friendship. NO SINGING!"

"But-"

"NO."

"Sorry," apologized Marona, rubbing her head. "I don't know what came over me."

"I bet it's that stinking Idol," answered Anita, clenching her fist.

Yachiru nodded. "Singing would actually be bad at this point. I don't know if any of the guards heard us..."

Marona nodded. "Oh!" she said, remembering something. "That's why we stopped! The closer we get to her, the stronger her song is."

"Hm," toned Yachiru in thought.

"I think we'll be fine together," said Anita. She looked at Marona, "You can defend yourself, right?"

"Yep!" said the girl, nodding enthusiastically. "Just you wait! Ash is a strong fighter, too!"

Yachiru eyed the man, noting for later to have a talk with him. "Then let's get moving, quickly." The other two nodded and agreement, and they snuck into the castle.

--

Twenty minutes and thirty seamen later, Anita managed to remember enough of the movie to guide their way close to the throne room. She didn't even need it, though, considering all they had to do was follow the increasingly loud voice.

Intruders, intruders in my castle
Waiting for my beautiful prince
To save me from this hassle

"She knows we're here," cursed Anita. "Well, there's no other choice..."

"That reminds me, though... She can only control men, right?" asked Marona. Yachiru and Anita nodded. "So where did all of the mermaids go?"

Anita thought for a moment. "She probably locked them all away. All we've seen so far are men."

"Do you think they could help us?" asked Yachiru. It was a good question. The trio now had to decide whether to directly face the Idol, or gamble on getting some help from the former inhabitants of the castle.

While Ami let loose with her ice attack against Valefor/Triton, Rikku pulled out her garment grid and started dialing in a dressphere change. Her clothing blurred, changing into a suit of spiked armor and matching helmet. Auron’s old Masamune appeared in her hands, completing Rikku’s transformation to Dark Knight. She readied her sword and prepared for a charge… only to find herself sinking into the sandy Besaid ground.

“Rir?” she said. “Fryd dra ralg ec kuehk uh rana? Ur, nekrd.” Rikku shook her head. She’d forgotten for a moment that she was fighting in an illusion. In reality, she was still a mermaid in the middle of the ocean. And, rather foolishly, she had just put on about fifty pounds of metal. No wonder she was sinking. She pulled the garment grid back out and slipped into something a little more comfortable. The Dark Knight’s metal and spikes faded away to the furs and body paint of the Berserker. Rikku snarled, then threw herself at Valefor/Triton.

The Sea King (and Ami, for that matter), was caught off-guard by Rikku’s sudden savagery. He managed to put up a meager defense with what Rikku perceived as his claw, but the sheer force of the tackle still propelled them both backwards, flying through the water and crashing into Lulu and Wakka’s house.

Of course, the house wasn’t actually there, and where the interior would be, Rikku now found herself in a wide corridor inside some kind of round building. A large elevator platform was in the center of the area, and some doorways leading off to the side were visible in the outside walls. Rikku looked over at Triton. Instead of Valefor, he looked like a young man with dark blonde hair. He was dressed in a trench coat and pointing a gunblade at Rikku. A few feet away, Fujin stared at the Al Bhed woman, startled at having seen her appear out of nowhere. The surprise only grew as Ami came running into the area through what appeared to be a solid wall.

Rikku tried to recover from both the force of the tackle and the sudden disorientation, but before she could manage, Triton grabbed hold of her and tossed her towards the elevator. She passed through the boundary of that illusion and sailed into another one. Flonne was here, sitting in a large park in the clouds, drinking tea with all kinds of cute and adorable creatures. Triton now looked like a giant, angry heart with a crack down the middle. Rikku’s momentum carried her out of that illusion, too, and into a horrifying realm where Illyria was facing off against an indescribably demonic Triton.

By this point, Rikku was able to slow down and regain control of her movement. She growled and launched herself at Triton again. The king of Atlantica braced for impact, holding his trident out before him to intercept the rampaging blonde. Before Rikku could reach him, however, a spray of freezing bubbles blasted him in the side, distracting him enough for Rikku to get in close unimpeded and throw a vicious punch into his gut.

This time it was Triton who flew backwards, albeit not nearly as hard or as far. Rikku kept pace with him, throwing blow after blow at his torso. The two passed outside of Illyria’s illusion and entered what seemed to be a large room full of naked, writhing bodies, engaged in sexual acts even Rikku had never conceived of. Off in the distance, she could see I-no racing through the area, seemingly oblivious to Rikku’s presence. Rikku and Triton, the latter of whom now looked exactly like legendary warrior Sol Badguy, took a quick look around the perversion-filled area, then very quickly backed out the way they came.

“Ugh,” Rikku said as the two drifted back into Illyria’s illusion. “Just seeing that makes me feel like showering for a week. I don’t know why I let Mint talk me into bringing her.”

Triton looked at Rikku for a moment, then punched her in the face.

Rikku again went sailing through the water. There was, she decided as she tried to stop her backward momentum, a definite downside to underwater combat. She passed through three more different illusions before ending up back in Besaid. She waited for Triton to follow her, but it was Ami who reached her first.

“Where is he?” Rikku asked, still unable to see through the veils of Nirvelli’s illusions.

“He’s coming,” Ami said, “but he’s not coming alone.”

A few seconds later Triton came back into view, shooting through what appeared to be the sky over the old temple of Yevon in Besaid. His back was turned to the two young women, however, and the reason for that soon became apparent. Flying in after Triton was Seras Victoria, her black left arm shaped into a very nasty-looking claw. Rikku and Ami took a moment to adjust to this development, then dove back into the fight.

Makoto and May swam for what felt like minutes before the Korean girl turned to her companion, who pre-emptively rolled her eyes.

"It's not fair."

Makoto blinked. "What's not?"

"I was trying to think of ways Korea's better than Japan... but all I can think of is Tae Kwon Do, justice, and soccer!"

"Does it even matter?"

The heroine nodded energetically. "Of course it does! You've wounded my nationalistic pride!"

Sighing, Makoto glanced back over to her. "Well, if it makes you feel better, you have a better flag than we do."

"Not if you don't believe in Taoism." she pouted.

"...you're not going to leave me alone until you think of something, are you?"

"Nope!"

The Japanese girl sighed again. "OK. Well... uh... think of things Korea doesn't have. Like subways girls can't take without having to learn karate. Or kancho. And, ugh, hentai."

"Yeah, but you export that everywhere else." May frowned. "One of Chae's favorite web sites is this yaoi shrine to Kyo Kusanagi that Athena made."

"No way she goes there t-- I mean, yeah, that's terrible."

"Especially in a good Catholic home like Kim's!"

Makoto half-smiled, looking at May out the corner of her eye. "So it'd be okay if Kyo was 10?"

"Ooh, that was low and you know it!"

"What's so special about Korean justice, anyway?" asked the other girl, changing the subject, and May grinned.

"It's brilliant! Lawyers are allowed to look for evidence along with the police, and trials are only three days, so the guilty usually get punished!"

Makoto stared in disbelief. "...where did you learn about law from?"

"The Turnabout Courtroom show, of course!"

"...heh." the Japanese girl chuckled. "You fell into my trap."

Lee blinked. "What...?"

"Phoenix Wright's real name is Ryuichi Naruhodou. That means..." she twirled, pointing dramatically straight at May's forehead, "...he's Japanese!"

"Noooo! Everything I've believed in was a lie! Why are you so mean?!" she cried.

"Well, I owed you for that crack about my face." she looked away. "Normally, I don't care, but...."

"It was just a joke, Ma-chan!" she protested, blinking back tears despite already being underwater. "Like how Yuri and me always talk about Ms. Shiranui and Ms. King, how girls in the tournaments have to b--"

"I know." The karateka snapped. "I was in the World Warrior tournament once, and there were pictures of Ibuki, Elena... and Li, and she's like forty. But--"

"But if you're a girl fighter and you're not a supermodel, you might as well just be a man, right?"

"...something like that." May descended a few hands in the water, to look the other girl in the eyes, and Makoto swallowed. "H-hey, now--"

"Does Ma-chan need a hug?"

"Touch me and d--" she started, but was cut off in mid-protest as the Korean embraced her, then quickly let go.

"Hey, we're friends now. Friends don't care about that stuff. And it's like Master Kim said once, 'Fighting skills last about thirty years longer than good looks. So which one's more important?'" she quoted, beaming, and Makoto managed a half-smile.

"I guess. ...so we're friends now?"

"Of course! I forgive you for being Japanese!" she said brightly, as Makoto pursed her lips. "Besides, I'm already friends with a lot of other fighters. It's more fun to spar and train with somebody you like!"

"That's true. ...hey, wait. Speaking of Japan," Makoto said quietly, looking on ahead, "...why is my dojo underwater?"

Lee shifted her eyes up, then gasped. "Your dojo?! That's Master Kim's school!"

The two girls gazed ahead, toward the illusory images of their respective homes that only each one could see, then back at each other. "...you're sure?" Makoto queried, and her friend nodded. "Then they're not real."

"That makes se-- huh?!"

"The Law of Noncontradiction," Makoto stated gravely, "States that something can't be A and not-A in the same time and in the same relationship. Ergo, two different dojos cannot be occupying the same position in the space-time continuum. Therefore they don't exist."

May nodded throughout the girl's explanation, and at the end, narrowed her eyes. "I bet you learned that in Japanese school, huh?!"

"Whatever, let's just go. These are illusions."

Obeying, Lee fell into fin behind the other girl, and the pair swam on toward Atlantica, the hallucinatory terrain fading in the ripples they made in the water, just as Makoto had said.

(Occurs sometime before midpoint.)

Salome was not well pleased by being covered in whale vomit; on the bright side, she was finally getting a chance to meet up with some of the people that Mint had recruited to fight the Idol.

"So...who are you two again?" she asked, hoping to learn at least a bit about those who would be fighting alongside her.

"I'm Viviana, that's Teifu," the more humanoid of the two replied. "You?"

"I am Salome, Overlord of the pale Netherworld," she began...and behind them, Monstro announced his presence with a massive bass roar.

Salome flipped back, just barely evading the monster's enormous maw as it rocketed past. Gathering a Fire spell, she hurled a sphere of bubbling, superheated water at the whale's side; the sphere impacted with a large burst of bubbles, but the whale didn't even seem to feel it. A moment later, she was forced to dodge again as Monstro's powerful tail slapped at her as the enormous whale's body finally got past. Salome caught a glimpse of Viviana unloading with a fireblast on the whale's body...only for the giant to again utterly ignore it.

"Focus your fire!" the Overlord yelled as the titanic whale got its bearings straight; its enormous maw creaking open as it got into position for another charge. "We've got to get this thing driven off quickly; every second it's bothering us puts us further behind the others! When it comes back, focus on one of the eyes and I'll lend my support, as well!"

"Alright!" came two replies...and then the whale was coming back around. She drifted a bit to the left, noting as the whale's gigantic maw followed her movement, centering on her--apparently the whale thought she'd be less spicy than the other two. Gathering her own strength, she waited...and, then, just an instant before she would've been INSIDE the whale's maw, she began frantically driving upwards with all of her strength. For a moment, she thought she might have waited too long--she could feel the terrible suction of the whale's maw, trying to pull her in--but then, she heard a muffled explosion sound as Viviana and Teifu attacked. Monstro howled as the blasts struck its sensitive eye...and that howl provided Salome with enough of a current to escape the gaping maw. Shooting up, she immediately curved around and diving back down towards the side of the beast's head with every ounce of speed she could muster...and there, just below her, was the whale's eye, still enveloped in steam from the fire attacks that had just hit it. She saw the eye look up to see her as she dove...and then her dagger connected, ripping a long, terrible wound through the monster's eyeball.

Monstro howled again in sharp, terrible pain, and flailed about in a frantic rage, forcing the three of them back...but this time, burning with pain and half blinded, the whale made no effort to pursue this time, only favoring them with a baleful glare from its good eye before slowly backing off, apparently in search of easier prey.

"Hopefully that will be enough to discourage him for awhile," Salome said, sounding grimly satisfied. "Now, shall we head for Atlantica, before he decides he wants another shot at us?"

The Sailor Senshi of Ice: Concussive Wave

As Seras barged on in with a rampaging wrath against the sea king, her very arm started to disturb the illusion, and the very cold temperature of the water, as a result of Ami's attacks, wasn't helping either. Very soon the entire illusion rippled into the ocean around them, and they found themselves back in Atlantica, free of illusion just as Seras's right fist smacked Triton. The sea king found himself being blasted backwards into Rikku's left fist. The two managed to knock Triton back and fourth three consecutive times until the sea king turned around fired a blast from his trident at Rikku. The beserker Al Behd woman brought her hands up to block the shot, but even her guard was not enough to keep the blast from knocking her back into the sand below.

Seras went in for a vicious attack with her clawed arm, only to be met by Triton's trident. The two began to parry back and forth with eachother. Ami saw this chance to take Triton down, and hopefully this time it would be for good. The Senshi brought out her arms wide, and focused two large bubbles into them, only to combine her hands and make the two bubbles one really big bubble, about twice the size of a soccer ball. In an instant Ami focused her attack and prepared to fire.

Seras saw that Ami was preparing and knew exactly what to do, and she first underhanded Triton's tridet, breaking the guard of the sea king. Seras kept the trident off the side with her clawed arm and right hand, and she used her lower body to check Triton in the side, knocking the sea king in the path of Ami.

"Closer, closer, closer, and.....NOW!" Ami shouted when Triton came sailing as close as the senshi could let him come. " Double Shabon Spray Freezing!!"

Triton turned around only to be met with a barrage of icy bubbles that latched onto him from head to toe. The bubbles froze into a solid block of ice that completely encased Triton before he had the chance to shout out for help. By now though, the royal guard had been alerted, and they were already stampeding their way towards the king, but they were still many yards off.

"Rikku!?" Ami called down to the Al Behd who just got her head out of the sand. "I think we can move.....WOAH!"

From the block of ice the massive left hand of Triton shattered through it frozen prison and grasped Ami by her dolphin tail. In an instant the Senshi found herself jerked backwards and then hurled forwards like a rag doll at in impossible speed for underwater. Ami couldn't stop herself, she just went with the throw with a scream to god knows where.

Seras and Rikku were about to help Ami, but she was going to fast and if they had a chance they missed it as the senshi went sailing by. Besides, Rikku had faith that Ami would gain control and be back as soon as she could. The vampire and the Al Behd rushed back in to engage Triton without the aid of their long range support.

Ami found herself finally stopping all because of a large piller that appeared behind her all of a sudden. The poor senshi smacked hard against the rock, leaving a few small cracks in it, and she then haplessly floated to the bottom, stunned and shocked. When she finally got down to the ground, she struggled a bit to regain her balance, but as soon as she got it, it was back with ease.

"That surprise attack," Ami was in sudden anger. "How dare he handle me like that."

Iced Heart of Darkness (The second attack) // Organization XIII // Kingdom Hearts II soundtrack

Ami's words were venemous, to the point where they even shocked her. Never in Ami's life had she sounded so wicked, and as if on cue, she felt her heart ache again. That suffocating sensation filled her veins and lungs, and she could even feel the muscles and veins around her heart area start to bulge into her uniform. It was a creepy sight even for an aspiring med student. Ami was scared but the pain just kept getting worse, until it finally subsided the instant she felt like she was going to faint. The bulging veins and muscle around her heart were gone and Ami felt herself normalize gradually. That singing came back into her ear, and Ami took a look around her surroundings, making sure to keep her visor up so the illusions wouldn't mess around with her.

That pain is getting worse and worse each time it happens, I need to work faster, and this is near the heart of her voice Ami thought to herself while slowly swimming along the ocean floor, making sure she stayed way out of sight while she recovered her stamina. I hope Rikku doesn't get too mad that I am leaving her behind to deal with Nirvelli, but I need to do something before I pass out from the next attack.

The Senshi swimmed onwards down this new corridor that she was flung into. It wouldn't be long, she knew, till she ran into the throne room, where Nirvelli was singing from.

---------------------------
Ami has been thrown out of the Triton fight, and instead of rushing back in, is now stealthily making her way towards the throne room in an attempt to engage the Idol Nirvelli.

As Atlantica faded from view, the Cleft of Dimensions appeared aroudn Krile. She looked at her surroundings, various islands of crystal floating in space. She looked ahead at something that seemed familiar, but was cloaked in darkness.

I see the silhoutetto of a tree!

Baldesion, Bladesion, I am ExDeath!
Thuderbolt and lighting, have a taste of Bolt 3!

A surge of lighting came from the darkened tree, illuminating it breifly and shocking Krile. Krile shook off the blast and removed a crystal from her satchel. He clothes remained the same, but a powerful wand appeared in her hand.

Meteo!

Meteo?

METEO!

Mete-oh!

Meteo-oh-whoa-whoa~

Massive rocks fell from the sky, smashing into ExDeath.

I'm just an endboss, nobody likes me.

He's just an endboss that's a giant tree,
but he doesn't matter as he's not all that you see!

Sang Galuf, appearing solid in Krile's illusion. Galuf still had his tentacles, flailing under him as he floated. Kriel pointed at Galuf, singing.

What the hell? Where's your legs? Are we still in Atlantica?

"Yes, it's just an illusion."

"Why aren't you singing anymore?" Krile pouted.

"Oh, sorry about that. We've got to-- KRILE!" Galuf shouts as the illusionary ExDeath uproots itself, swims up to krile and slaps her across the face with it's roots. Krile is sent backwards to another illusion. Galuf shook his fist at King Triton and took off after her.

Tale of the Wandering Heart and the Wandering Sword

Part II:I - Reminiscent and Resistant

Earlier that day...

"Jiyu." Mikage watched on as the group of women, sans a few stragglers made their way into the oceans depths, each of them slowly being transfigured by the magic of the Sea Witch. Jiyu turned to Mikage, questioningly as she watched May Lee and Makoto wander off towards the shoreline.

"Hmm?" Mikage was already unwrapping her now needless bandages across her waist, and looked down to the questioning Jiyu.

"How did the battle go?" Mikage tosses the bloodstained bandages to the sands, caught in the wind and tumbling down the beach. Jiyu took on a bit of a downtrodden posture and clasped her hands together behind her back.

"Something strange happened..." She looked over to Mikage sidelong, "The woman, Koishii... the one they're calling the Idol, she shattered the sword you gave me, but something about that place reacted with the Lovely Eyepatch, and with the spirit inside." She looked down to the sand, her tennis shoes digging into the beach, scuffing up a half-broken sand dollar.

"You mentioned a ghostly figure before we were whisked here." Mikage seemed concerned, watching Jiyu's shifting expressions.

"I don't think it's anything like the Ryujoji Shinkageryu spirits..." The young girl shifted her weight to one foot and relaxed her posture, "I think..." Her eyes drifted up to Mikage's, "I think it was Yagyu Jubei." Mikage looked a bit perplexed, and glanced around Jiyu.

"Where did the sword go?" She asked.

"When..." Jiyu seemed disappointed as she continued, "When the Idol defeated Jubei, and I turned back into myself the sword vanished, I think it went inside the Lovely Eyepatch." She looked to the pink piece of ceramic hanging from Mikage's hip.

"We need to be careful Jiyu, if the spirits of that place could affect the Eyepatch, it is possible that other realms will have the same effect." Jiyu nodded, "Are you feeling alright, after the battle that is?" Jiyu nodded emphatically and beamed Mikage a smile.

"Yep!" She said cheerily, brushing away Mikage's concern.

"I seem to be fine as well, the travel here seems to have restored me from the wound I took from that swordsman." Jiyu inched a bit closer to Mikage and leaned against her. Mikage paused, looking down to Jiyu with a motherly smile, and then turned to look back at the sparkling waters and the dark silhouettes of Mint and her allies diving within.

"She seems eager to get revenge." Jiyu's voice was distant sounding, her eyes drawn to the infinite horizon beyond the ocean.

"She has been wronged, hurt, and many things taken from her." Mikage spoke from experience, "But vengeance will only lead her down a path of suffering." Jiyu nodded, still resting her head on Mikage's shoulder, "I only hope that her anger has not blinded her to outside threats."

"I think she'll be fine." Jiyu said with a smile, "Besides, she's got me to help her!" Jiyu finally leaned off of Mikage and folded her arms across her chest with a devious grin on her face.

"What's that look for?" Mikage said with a hint of worry in her voice.

"I have an idea!" Jiyu grinned broadly to which Mikage's only response was a curiously raised eyebrow.

Later...

The sun shone down on the sandy beach as Jiyu tossed aside a conch shell over her shoulder, now strippe ddown to her white dress shirt with a few of the buttons undone, her tan sweater-vest cast aside, shoes and socks off, also haphazardly tossed to the sands. Mikage stood at the crouching Jiyu's side, still dressed in her kunoichi uniform, and seeming to be braving the heat as best as possible.

"So!" Jiyu exclaimed, pointing to a crude sand-castle in the sand, "This is where we are." She gestures to the kanji for "ocean" scrawled into the sand in front of the sandcastle, "We accidentally ended up here after we left..." Her finger moves to point at another sandcastle with the kanji for "spirit" scrawled in front of it, "...here." Mikage nods, looking at the two sandcastles with a hand held up to her chin.

"Mnhmn." She says softly, watching Jiyu's explanation.

"This shell is us." She said, holding up a blueish-purple oyster shell in the air above the "spirit" sandcastle. "We crashed down here." She threw the shell at the "spirit" sandcastle, crushing it in a shower of sand.

"Mnhmn." Mikage added, nodding once.

"Then we found out that the evil nasty woman here was none other than the same evil nasty woman who made Ms.Mint very, very upset!" She picked up the shell in hand again, "After she was defeated, we left to try and get to Ms.Mint's home, but instead we ended up here." She placed the shell down gently over the "ocean" kanji.

"Mnhmn." Mikage nodded once.

"But this isn't Ms.Mint's home either, and from the sounds of it the really evil nasty woman is here too, somehow." Jiyu put a hand to her chin in thought, "Which means if she knew who Ms.Mint was even though they never met, chances are she shares the memories of all of the other selves, which means..." Jiyu turned towards Mikage , slapping a fist into her open palm, "Mint and the others are walking into a trap!"

Mikage quirked a brow and looked down to the display, pointing to a third sandcastle, "Then, what is that one?" Jiyu glanced over at the sandcastle, grimaced, then turned back to Mikage.

"Oh, I was having fun~"

Later Still...

"Are you certain it's a trap?" Mikage swam expediantly to catch up to Jiyu's side, her black glossy tail flapping up and down to bring her to speed. Jiyu turned to her side, still swimming ahead expediantly as she nodded once to Mikage.

"It's gotta be, that's how these things work!" Jiyu said with a grin, the long and billowing red fins extending from her shoulders tailing behind her in the water, "We've gotta hurry and catch up to them!" Mikage nodded and pulled her arms in closer to her body, swimming ahead with a great haste.

Jiyu matched Mikage's speed, her ruby-red fishtail flapping from side to side, with the long and translucent tail flowing gracefully with each stroke, the pair hoping that by the time they caught up with Mint, they could warn her of the potential trap they would be swimming straight into.

And Now...

"It's... beautiful." Jiyu's eyes widened as she and Mikage reached the outskirts of the city the Sea Witch had called Atlantica. "I've never even imagined something so amazing..." Mikage too was awestruck, the dancing lights in the depths, the colorful coral walls, and the shining palace of white stone that rose up from its center, it truly was a kingdom.

"Look." Mikage said with a sudden seriousness in her voice, pointing to the wide open courtyard of the city where dozens of figures seemed to clash in a struggle, "We're too late!" Jiyu bit her lower-lip and growled as she burst forward, Mikage following suit.

"That big guy with the white beard, I think he's the--"

Then you will be, a part of my world...

Mikage was cut off as she winced hearing the lilting voice of a siren in her mind, Jiyu too was given pause, looking back to Mikage concerned. "That song... what is that?" Her eyes widened, the haunting aria of the voice of a young girl echoed all around them.

"Jiyu I--" Mikage's voice faded away, as did the surroundings all around Jiyu. In a sudden snap, like waking up from a nightmare Jiyu shot up from her bed, eyes wide and in a cold sweat.

"W-what?" Her eyes raced from side to side, looking around her bedroom as sunlight traced its way through the curtains. With a violent kick her blankets were thrown from the bed, and her eyes moved down to her legs--two perfectly good human legs. "What!?" Jiyu leapt out of her bed, noting the pair of slippers by the side and slid them on.

"Daaad!?" Jiyu called out, her feet scuffing agsint the floor as she quickly made her way out of her room, her eyes drawn to a picture hanging on the wall outside of her door of the front of her house. She stopped in mid stride, transfixed by the picture.

Jiyu's face scrunched up in disbelief as she stepped towards the photograph, "We... took this down when--"

Twilight of the Idol AST // 03 - Dearest Mother :: Yuki Kajiura ~ Otome Lullaby

"Jiyu?" A weak voice came from the bedroom door adjacent to the picture. Jiyu stepped back, her eyes widening and her hands trembling.

"No..." She said under her breath, looking to the sliding door.

"Jiyu... what's wrong?" Jiyu took another step back, bumping into the wall behind her and causing her to yelp in fright, "Jiyu?" The voice pleaded, full of sadness. Jiyu took a hesitant step forward towards the door, silent, her hand shaking.

She swallowed audibly as her fingers touched the doorknob, slowly sliding the wooden door to the side to reveal a pitch-black room with a single sleeping mat on the floor, her eyes darted around the room; bloodied handkerchiefs and tissues, empty bottles of pills, two glasses of water, one empty the other full, and partially covered by Jiyu's shadow, the figure of a woman.

Jiyu fell to her knees, her shoulders shuddering and her hands drawn to her face, she sobbed, her whole body shaking violently as she looked up through her parted fingers and saw the waves of brown hair spread out over a pillow, and the sad lifeless eyes of her mother staring back at her.

"No..." Jiyu whispered, her bangs hanging down to cover her eyes as she curled her fingers into tight fists that covered her mouth, "Please, No..." She whispered, she could feel her stomach turning in knots.

"Jiyu... what's wrong?" Her mother's weary voice called out, fading in and out as she spoke, "Don't cry Jiyu... daddy will... be home soon." Jiyu slumped forward, her hands slapping against the wood floor as she struggled to hold herself up, sucking in a sob as her lower lip trembled.

"Mommy..." She said weakly, crawling on her hands and knees towards the sound of her mother's voice.

"Yes Jiyu... I'm here..." Her mother's weak and fragile voice sounded like a whisper, "Come here... my Jiyu, I miss you." Jiyu sobbed again, sucking back the sound of her weeping as she crawled through the bloodstained tissues, handkerchiefs and emoty pill bottles to her mother's side, unknowing that behind her began to loom a dark silhouette, and a shadow cast by another figure.

"Mommy..." Jiyu said, brushing matted hair from her mother's pale face, looking in horror at the dark circles around her sunken eyes and the yellow cast to her cheeks.

"Jubei." Jiyu turned slowly to look behind herself at the sound of the familiar voice. She saw in the doorway the dark silhouette of a man with light reflecting off of his square glasses, "Jubei what have you done?" He asked, lowering his head to glare disapprovingly at her.

"D-daddy?" Jiyu said weakly, crawling closer to her mother.

"You're bothering your mother, Jiyu." Sai said as he took one heavy footstep into the room, "What have I told you about bothering your mother?" Sai raised his head, his violent eyes seen just briefly through his reflective lenses. Jiyu curled her knees up to her chest, burying her face in them as she cried harder, failing to notice the trident carried in Sai's right hand.

"I'm sorry daddy... mommy was..."

"SHUT UP!" Sai screamed, slamming his trident against the ground as he took another heavy footstep towards Jiyu, "Stop giving me your excuses!" Jiyu broke out into tears again, sobbing into her knees...

...Tears?

Jiyu raised up her head to look at Sai, and then looked down to her knees. They were dry, not a single sign of tears on them. Her right hand moved up to her cheek, feeling the dryness, her eyes equally so.

"Jiyu..." Jiyu's mother groaned, and Jiyu's expression hardened instantly, turning to that of unexpressable rage and seething anger. Jiyu lunged forward towards Sai, screaming as loud as she could as she swung out with one fist, striking Sai in the stomach and knocking him back. As her fist connected to her father's stomach the world around her shattered like a pane of glass, her furious expression growing more angered as she sight of the aquatic landscape broke back into view, and on the recieving end of her punch was King Triton, reeling from the unexpected blow.

"How could you!" Jiyu screamed, looking back to find Mikage engaged with several mer-men in coral armor, "How could you use those memories against me!?" Jiyu screamed, balling her hands into tight fists as she glared up at Triton, "HOW COULD YOU USE HER!?" Jiyu screamed once more, and a brilliant red light flared from Mikage's hip.

"The... the eyepatch!?" Mikage ducked beneath the swing of a saw-toothed glaive made from a sword-fish's bill, spinning around to slap the merman with her porpoise tail, knocking him into two others before grabbing at the searing-hot eyepatch, bubbles exploding off of its surface from the growing heat.

"Jiyu!" Mikage shouted, causing Jiyu to turn and look once more at the Kunoichi, "Catch!" She grabbed the eyepatch like a shuriken, hurling it side-long thorugh the water with a spinning force. Jiyu swam back away from Triton's thrusting jab with his legendary trident ans snatched the Lovely Eyepatch out of the water.

Jiyu turned and looked back at Triton with a glowering stare, and Triton regarded the tiny girl with much confusion as she strapped the pink-heart to her eye, tying the black leather straps together with one eye narrowed.

"Together, Jiyu."

Twilight of the Idol AST // 35 - Yagyu Jubei! :: Jubei Chan OST ~ Main Theme

Upon donning the eyepatch she was met by a familiar voice, the fatherly voice of Yagyu Jubei the First, and in a blaze of airbubbles and a flash of red light, Jiyu was lifted up higher into the waterm spinning in a slow circle as her hair flew up and swirled around her. Jiyu's body became wrapped in black and brown cloth, studs flashing to existance over her now armored shoulders, her height increasing and an explosion of spiritual energy in her hand as her zanpakuto burst to life in her palm. Triton looked down at Jiyu with a disapproving stare.

"You will not have my kingdom!" He roared, raising up the trident with a ferocious look in his eyes. Yagyu Jubei looked up to Triton, a stern and forceful glare to her.

"I will show you..." She readied her sword out in front of herself, "The error of your ways!" Jibeu cried out, swimming towards Triton with a powerful battlecry as the King of the Seas raised his trident over his head, lightning surving around the forks.

Blast from the Past Part 1:

Deep in the ocean's depths, Fujin is seen rushing toawrds Atlantica in hopes to join the action. The closer she gets to her destination, the darker the waters become, until the only thing visible from her postion is the sand beneath her.

Krile manages to float through the darkness and collide with Fujin. "CAREFUL" she shriek at the woman as she still tries to retain where she is. "Sorry, I was hit hard by something and went flying into the aby-".

Just then a moan came from out of the darkness. Both woman looked around to see where the sound had come from but couldn't see any source. Galuf pushed his way through and stop in front of the girls. " I'm glad you're alright Krile, I was worr-"

Another moan from the abyss, this time much louder. "what was that?" asked Krile.

"GHOSTS." Fujin said jokingly. The Grandfather-Grandaughter duo stared at each other then proceed to laugh in an awkward manner.

The moans began to grow louder and louder and seemed to have grown exponentially. First one voice, then two, then 4 and on it went until a whole army could be heard in the darkness, coming for them.

Suddenly, instumental music came Blaring from the abyss, melloing out into a funky beat.

Galuf turned to the ladies, "I think I've heard something about this before"

deep in the ocean, something evils lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight you see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes,
Youre paralyzed!

Krile monotonously cuts in "this sounds famili-", Fujin points into the abyss and screams

THILLER!

Blast from the Past part deux: This Time, it's Personal!

As the words left Fujin's mouth, the darkness gave way to an army of undead shinigami. It seems the soldiers of the execution site battle had return for another round.

Fujin spun around in a circle, blowing up a sand storm at the bottom of the ocean. The shinigame seemed entirely unaffected by this and continued marching on.

From behind them, another group came through, these men were unknown to Krile and Galuf, but Fujin recognized the uniform instantly. "Who are these people?"
SeeDs." Fujin exclaimed. At first, the sight of people from her world was comforting, however, that thought soon diminished when their faces came into clear sight, these men were no longer among the living.

Standing back-to-back Krile and Fujin prepare for the oncoming battle. Noticing that Galuf remained still, both women looked over to see what was wrong. Their view zoomed into his face, which had been changed into one of them!

dun dun DUN!

The beat began to pick up again as Galuf assumed the leader posistion of the encircling army. The women returned to battle stance, Hoping to knock some sense into poor old Galuf.

The Group marched to the beat, stopping only feet away from their prey. Instead of initiating attack they began to dance in a well choreographed fashion and seemed less like an army of darkness and more like the finishing number to a high school musical.

The two looked at one another in amazement, and decided to finish this themselves, they charged to group only to have them dissolve into the water, they reached to other end of the army and found that they had returned to the crystal clear waters of Atlantica.

Galuf came up behind in a Daze. "What happen?" he inquired. "TRICKED" Fujin stated irritantly and rushed off to the battle ahead.

Galuf shook his head, hoping to clear away what had just happened, " come on Krile, let's go!". Galuf put an arm around her as they began to swim along.

After Krile was comfortable around her Grandfather again, Galuf looked over his shoulder and, as his eyes began to glow, let out an evil chuckle. Krile hit him in the gut, "enough with the games!"

"Sorry" Galuf responded and his eyes returned to normal.
