Last game I bought was The Darkness for the 360. I wish I didn't buy it, it's good but far too short to be worthy of my €70.
Oh and Hitman: Blood Money for the 360 aswell. But that was only €20 so I can't complain.

Odin Sphere and Grim Grimore, although due to Okami sucking my time and soul away, I'm only just now starting on the former. Good game, although combat feels a little rigid. Gwen's a lot of things, but Dante she ain't.

NCAA Football 08. For the PS2. Because I'm still not in the position to get a 360. The PS2 version isn't necessarily bad, but it's lacking many of the overhauls the next-gen versions got, and in many ways just isn't quite as polished.

I just got Track & Field for Live Arcade and it's just as simple stupid fun as I remember it to be.
As for real games, I just bought Call of Duty 3 and GRAW 2 off a guy from work but have only found the time to play some Call of Duty.

Paper Mario on the VC. I never played this one on the N64, but enjoyed the sequel on the GC. I'm finding it a really fun game.

Last game i bought was Odin Sphere. I traded in 3 DS games for it since my DS broke and paid all of 2 bucks for the game. I loved the game to death until the part where i had to go back to level my characters for the end battles. Oh yeah, did we mention you have to play through their entire fucking storyline from chapter one? Don't forget about the 5 fucking characters you need to do that with.
Since then i acquired a copy of San Andreas for the price of free from my uncle. Nothing beats bustin' caps and smackin' hoes and all those other things that end with an apostrophe instead of g.

For myself? Odin Sphere. A fun, intriguing, beautiful, but deeply flawed game. The plot loses something because of its linear POV progression (makes no sense to me after how well the Trinity Sight worked in Suikoden III), the only way to level is eating food which requires you to farm as much as if you were wandering around fighting random battles anyway, and the slowdown when there are too many enemies on the screen, or one BIG enemy with several smaller ones swarming you, cannot be exaggerated, so much that it can become borderline unplayable. Despite those annoying flaws, though, the game has thoroughly charmed me and I'm hoping the endgame doesn't disappoint, but even then, Suikoden V and KotOR2 had atrocious endgames, but I forgave them for the most part (well, less KotOR2) because they kept me engaged throughout. Odin Sphere may be the same if worse comes to worst.

King of Fighters XI and KoF: Maximum Impact 2. I was originally just going to get KoF XI, but when I saw that MI2's pre-order price had been dropped from £25 to £15 I grabbed both. I was pretty surprised with both games, for different reasons. It seems to be fashionable to hate on the 3D KoF games, but I found MI2 very enjoyable. It doesn't push the PS2, but it's a good looking game (and has jiggle ). Plenty of entertaining, easily learned characters, and lots of bonus stuff to unlock. On the other hand the game that people rave about, KoF XI, I found clunky and boring. It's got a large roster of characters, but they're nearly all unlocked from the start so there doesn't feel like much incentive to delve into single player. Mainly, the combat just isn't satisfying. I'm sure some people will balk at that casual assessment with talk of frames and balance and tiers, but I don't care about any of that. I like my fighting games flashy, accessible, and with lots of single player content.

I love MI2 myself (aka KOF 2006 in the US).
Also, you Europeans got a really fucked up port of KOFXI. I wouldn't judge it from that version, as XI's combat is probably the fastest in the series. Although it isn't MvC2 or GGXX-tier speed, it's still pretty damn fast. Try importing the Japanese or (provided it doesn't have the same problems as the PAL version) the US version.

Global Defence Force. I had to do some work on the game to convert it from PAL to NTSC and then getting it to work on a DVD. They made some annoying changes to the game during localization.
They changed the button to enter vehicles from Select to the Triangle button, took out all the voice acting in the game, and took out the New label that appeared beside the new weapons you get after a level.

The last game I bought was The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure for the GC. It reminds me of the Zelda game for the original Gameboy that I lost some how.

Pokemon Fire Red.
That game is fucking HARD now that they have clear stat definitions. I'm not that far into it, but Misty's Starmie is one of the hardest boss fights I can remember. I don't know if I've ever actually planned out a battle like I did with that one.
