....I have never agreed 100% with a Yahtzee review before. But damn, he's totally right about pretty much everything on Brawl. Especially the part about unlockable characters (and unlockable characters that the damn game's hype is based upon). Fuck that shit.

The sad thing is I wasn't actually laughing at the comedy so much as going "finally, someone who doesn't think Brawl is Video Game Jesus" XD

I'll disagree with you on this one. I've not played a first party Nintendo game since OOT and I love Brawl. I also agree with pretty much the whole review. Great for a few hours of fun but can get boring quickly.

...that's not what he said. He claimed that fanboys will love it no matter what. It may or may not appeal to those that aren't drinking the Nintendo kool-aid.

Nintendo's been dead to me for years, I guess I'm okay with missing Brawl for the time being.

I must agree.

And no, I was not that guy, although I was the only one who had an inkling of how it played. I still pretty much agree with him though, despite my knowing which buttons do what, it still is a mess and the lack of instant Sonic pretty much ruined the whole night. Well, not really.
