Thank you very much! Well, if you have Japanese questions, ask me by E-mail. Because I haven't posted FFO so much in these days.

どういたしまして^^
そしよかな、メール
After watching the other trailer with English subtitles on the site, I see their usage of "Focus" and "fal'Cie" and "l'Cie" so changed my transcript to reflect that (though I guess I was pretty close to begin with).
I also just realized that Lightning's voice in the Japanese version is Sakamoto Maaya. While the dub in the new trailer was good... Must...have...Japanese...version... Wonder if the NA release will have both dub tracks.

That's too bad, the staff were not planning it.
But Kitase-san said they would consider.

I was feeling a little bummed about XIV being another MMO, since that meant it'd be that much longer for a console FF. But this trailer has me seriously hyped for this. If it's as good as it looks to be, my love of the FF franchise might just be renewed. And if Versus XIII and Agito XIII are good, then hell, I won't mind waiting at all for XV.

Hahaha!, I like how the other girl runs like *la-la-laaa!*.
I'm liking Lightning too, but she seems a bit too... harsh, it seems that when it comes to girls, Squeeninx either goes to one extreme or the other.
Well see.

Can you issue direct commands to more than one character? I still want to know that and it's still not clear.

I probably won't buy if you can't. Now, you may say "but you're a huge Star ocean fan!" Yes, playing in real time, being able to jump and do a command and dodge attacks in real time makes up for the fact that I can't issue direct commands to my teammates. But not playing in real time and having restricted movement, PLUS not being able to control my teammates = I dealt with this in FF12 and its not fun.

I think SE kind of failed when they announced FFXIV, because I find myself more excited for news about that instead of this. Bad move.

Yeah, they said that you could in response to the demo, where you could only control the "main" character(s).

The above interview pretty much said you control a 'leader' of your party and beyond that have AI settings for the other party members that can be changed in combat. The 'leader' will change as the story goes along and will not be freely selectable until a later portion in the game.

Whaa? Guess they lied. Unless they just meant it'll be like FFXII, where you could technically micromanage everyone's commands, despite it being virtually impossible to manage.

You can watch Japanese trailer here.
I wonder if Lightning is Snow's real elder sister, because he calls her "Sister" on the last line.

Erm...well, with the English voice over, Snow just refers to her as "Lightning" when it comes to that last line. Also, it seems to me that Sazh refers to Snow as "Bro(ther)" (?) in Japanese, but he doesn't in English.

Actually, it sounds going to be like Persona 3 more than anything.
Oh, yeah what everyone think about the one summon per character?

Speaking strictly, it's "Elder brother". Is it possible that Snow is older than Sazh? No.
So, in this case, you could translate as "Young man".
But it is possible that Lightning is older than Snow and she is real sister of Snow isn't it?
