Her name Jill Nabato apparently:

Quote:
V-Jump, who named Yaag in their latest issue are ready to reveal the name of another Final Fantasy XIII character. This time it's the glasses wearing, long haired woman who appears in the latest trailers. V-Jump will be doing a feature on her in their new issue but they've already revealed that her name will be Jill Nabato (loosely translated, may change slightly) and that she's a Lieutenant Colonel in the holy government. She's also been confirmed to be a "nemesis" so there's no surprises there.
Also the sliver haired guy is name Yaag Rosch:

Next the silver haired man featured in the E3 2009 trailer. Never again will he need to be called that or anything similar, with V-Jump sharing that his name is Yaag Rosch - lieutenant colonel rank, if anyone's interested. The magazine describes him as being the rival of Lightning and co., suggesting that he'll play a role similar to the Turks in Final Fantasy VII or Seymour in Final Fantasy X.
It is stated that Yaag desires peace for Cocoon's citizens, so he won't take to any threatening individuals too kindly.
Some better images of Odin's Gestalt mode:

All these are form FFXIII net.

There new interview and other stuff here:

PS3 verison 90% and 360 verison 70%:

They're aiming for 3 disks for the 360 verison and game might be 50 hours to complete without taking in account sidequest.

From GameFAQs:

Quote:
"Kitase said that the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII is now roughly 70 percent done, though the debugging process hasn't begun yet. The English voice acting for the game is being recorded and Square Enix is making sure the lip synching is correct with the game's detailed facial models."

- All the English voice work has been recorded, though not completely implemented yet
- The game was presented to the press, and two brand new characters were shown
- A new girl was revealed, she wears a summer dress, white top, pink mini-skirt and a pink braid, more info on her at TGS next month
- The other new character revealed was Sazh's son, though little more was revealed about him other than that.

A bit late, but ffxiii.net shows latest FFXIII info from Famitsu, and it has more info on the battle system. From the look of things, it seems that there are general AI classes that you can set characters to; classes listed so far include "Attacker", "Defender" and "Blaster".

Frankly, if you're going to go the "AI controlling your teammates" route, I don't see why they're going with this system over the already-established gambit system, except maybe to placate those who thought the Gambit System was too complicated. Or perhaps they are using a gambit-like system, only with specific macros for different AI types. Didn't they say that the more you played the more control you got over your character? Perhaps as you increase level you get to fine-tune your AI options a la gambits, but at the onset, the scripts are fixed per AI class.

Oh course, I could be completely wrong. Perhaps when someone translates the text we'll have a better idea of what's going on.
